Potential career path

During the last few years, several OAMK students have found their training and career path at Symbio. This is a path that many students have followed and then launched their career at Symbio:

• Project work: Internal projects, including work on Symbio’s own products.
• Practical training: Opportunities in areas such as software development, QA, and test automation.
• Thesis work: The content of thesis work is typically based on the practical training project.

Project work

Based on your interests and Symbio's ongoing projects, your work may involve engaging with some of the following areas and technologies:

• Embedded Systems & Microcontrollers: Programming in C/C++ and hands-on experience with microcontroller platforms like Arduino.
• Android Platforms, Middleware & Automotive: Familiarity with the Android platform and its framework services, with an interest in learning about Android Automotive OS and its certification process.
• Cloud Integration: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and IoT connectivity, focusing on communication between the cloud and devices.
• Networking & Security: Understanding of mesh network technologies and concepts related to secure communication.
